Feedback Analysis
I didn't think any of the feedback I received from my last pitch was outrageous or silly. I was able to take all of it into consideration. It is true that the tone and my appearance on the last pitch didn't entirely match the product I was trying to "sell" which was all about simplicity and enjoying the moment. I feel that this video better captures what the product is all about. Further more, it more sufficiently addresses my target audience, who ideally are not serious business people in suits and ties, but people who enjoy relaxing and being outdoors.
Thanks everyone for your input!
Hi Holly,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your pitch! I think your delivery and emphasis on certain key words was great. The casual context of the pitch matches the industry you are in, so I think it works. I like how you included a time lapse of you taking down the hammock. I would recommend maybe adding some text or directly mentioning how long it took you to take down the hammock without your invention. Thanks again for sharing!

Holly,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your pitch the second time around. I really liked the outside aspect of it and thought it made a good connection to the outdoorsy nature of your product. I think that the changes you made really helped the pitch out and the time lapse was a cool add-on. One recommendation I have is to add something to the time lapse that supplements the video. The time lapse by itself is great because you see the product being used firsthand, but it might need something more.
Hi there Holly,
ReplyDeleteI really loved watching your video, and I thought the way it was shot was spectacular. I also appreciate the attention to detail you had for the quality of the pitch. By this I mean you took the time to actually listen to the words of wisdom given to you by the peer review, which pushed your pitch above and beyond.
Hey Holly,
ReplyDeleteThis was easily one of the most creative elevator pitches I've ever seen. Pitching your product about retractable Eno straps while on an Eno was something that easily gets your point across in a unique way and I enjoyed watching this pitch. I agree with Jordan that the time-lapse should probably tie into the video. Maybe if you had time-lapsed you taking it down and stowing it all away instead, which is where your product would be the most beneficial, you would be able to demonstrate a need for your product in a more efficient way.
Hello Holly!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was creative of you to start off the video by setting up your eno. You made your pitch very casual, which is smart since your audience who might be interested in your product like the outdoors and a more laid back environment, so great job. Overall, I think you improved from your first elevator pitch and this time around you caught my attention more. Great job!
Hi Holly,
ReplyDeleteI thought your pitch was put together quite well. You catered to your audience well in the manner in which you presented the material. I also liked your use of the eno as it brought the point of your product home. I think you definitely improved from the initial elevator pitch and more effectively communicated your message.
